Biomedical Technical Services

 For over 30 years, Trudell Healthcare Solutions (THS) has operated a service department in London, Canada known as Trudell Technical Services (TTS). TTS supports hospitals across Canada by offering installation services, warranty and post warranty services including demand repair and preventive maintenance, and refurbishment programs for our capital equipment and surgical product lines. TTS employs experienced Biomedical Engineering Technologists who receive manufacturer level training on all key product lines and are certified by the OEM/supplier to perform repairs and services.

 Trudell Technical Services offers a variety of options including unique service contracts to suit your equipment needs including bench or on-site repair plus on-call emergency services that stress the flexibility of the TTS team to meet the demanding needs of any healthcare environment. In addition, our technologists are always ready to share their expertise with hospital biomedical staff when needed and can offer technical training in London.

Insulated Surgical Instruments

TSICS re-insulates Bi-polar and Mono-polar forceps, Speculums, Clip Appliers, L and J Hooks and many other instruments. All instruments are cleaned, the insulation is re-tested for electrical leakage and proper operation, then properly lubricated prior to return.

Full-Service - Service is good; Full service is better.

For those looking for operational reliability and to both predict and optimize costs – Full-Service is for you. This fully comprehensive plan includes all corrective maintenance, preventive maintenance, discounted training and remote services (including updates when available). With a Full-Service Agreement, your costs remain predictable for the future while ensuring complete coverage of your equipment using only Original Equipment Manufacturing parts.

• Repair or replacement of product due to manufacturing defects including travel and labour.

• One (1) onsite PM per year including scheduled PM parts.

• Discount on factory level training (when available).

• Unlimited Telephone & Remote Support including Software Updates (when available).

Shared-Service – Teamwork makes the Dreamwork.

Working together with you, we ensure the best of both worlds. A Shared-Service Agreement includes all parts required for both corrective maintenance and preventive maintenance, and includes remote services (including updates when available) while providing you the ability to maintain at your leisure. With a Shared-Service Agreement, your costs remain predictable for the future while ensuring complete coverage of your parts using only Original Equipment Manufacturing parts.

Preventive Maintenance – Take care of your equipment and your equipment will take care of you.

A well-oiled machine is just that – well-oiled. A preventive maintenance contract ensures your investment can operate reliably in the long-term. A PM Agreement proactively ensures the manufactured recommended maintenance is performed by experienced Technologists, and includes remote services (including updates when available). With a Preventive Maintenance Agreement, your support costs remain predictable for the future while ensuring longevity of your equipment.

Remote Service – From the comfort of your own site.

For those that would like to control their own maintenance but would like additional support at a moment’s notice – Remote Service is for you. This allows our team to remote into your device (if available) and provide live support, troubleshooting and updates. With a Remote Support Agreement, your support costs remain minimal and predictable for the future while ensuring an expert is always at your fingertips.
